"I have no control over the air conditioning" person... Yeah, youre right, we do have control over the air conditioning. What makes you think that your the only person in the damn resturant. For every can you turn it down question we get, theres another person saying its too hot. Bring a fucking jacket and quit being a douchebag. Your gonna be there for an hour maybe, drinking your hot tea and eating soup or whatever it may be, while the waitstaff is running around, sweating.

Oooooooh, this is good stuff. Honest complaint against the customers. There's been some posts on this site AGAINST restaurants, so I am sure this will stir up a storm.

Awesome, Bosco. Those were sweet.

This whole time, the reason they keep the place cold is to promote faster turnover. They don't want people to get too comfortable, so they'd leave, making the tables available for new customers. Isn't this a classic move?

Wait a minute, I thought the reason they always tell me, "I have no control over the AC - let me check with the manager" was because there's a plastic case around the thermostat and they have to check with the manager. ;)

I thought the reason was because they have to call the building manager.

This is an informative rant. I didn't think about the restaurants attempt to keep the waitstaff comfortable. This leads to better and quicker service, and for the establishment, happier employees.

Sully, I wonder what the temperature in the kitchen is like then?

Hilarious. At first, I thought this rant was about the douchebag waiter who lies that he has no control over the temperature. I must say I have heard many people complain that restaurants don't accommodate for temperature, but here's another angle. Angles are good.

I love getting another angle on this.

Waitstaff's sweat in our food = not good.

...but then at the same time, Unhappy Customers = not good.
