Eric Gagne -- why on the roster????? |

With the world series starting tonight, this is really worrying me. Why did tito put gagne on the playoff roster at all, when a much more reliable Tavarez was waiting in the wings??? At least Tavarez has a good track record!! If it ever gets to extra innings and we need to put in Gagne, we're done. I don't care how much money we are spending on him, he can't be used!

The Rockies are going to be a tough team and I think the series is going to be close. I just hope Gagne doesn't choke in a key situation and lose the series for us. 2. big man Yeah I think we're all a little worried. I'm worried about Lester starting game 4 too. Let's hope we win the first three... 3. Chris Beckett is looking good tonight... yeah, I really hope these games don't go into extra innings so we don't have to use GagMe. 4. Okajima and Lester We should fire Gagne, and give the bazillion dollars he makes out to the younger ones, Okajima Lester, and Bukholtz. They make like 1/10 of what Gagne makes combined! (I am guessing, but whatever.) 5. DCB Thank goodness Lester pulled it off! For such a close game 4, seeing Gagne in the bullpen was not reassuring. He could have totally sunk our game 4 win. |
