It really should be on a weekend. Who can go on a weekday other than college students? The rest of us either have to work, or are kids who will be in school. All fine and dandy if you work anywhere near the parade route, but hello, most of us don't. And I'm not going to skip a day of work to watch the duck boats go by. I seem to remember it being on a Saturday last time, could be wrong though. Also, doesn't it coincide with Free Taco Day!?!?!?! That is a travesty. If there are any Taco Bells along Boylston Street, I feel bad for you guys. You are gonna get hammered with 30,000 red sox fans all demanding their free tacos. Good luck. I'll be at work, thanks. | | This item includes 5 comments |

Wow, read this guy's article... talk about harsh on boston... I can understand they are unhappy that they got spanked 13-1 last night but why the harsh tone? Is it because you are a bad writer? (uh, yes) http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/mlb/article/0,2777,DRMN_23924_5730758,00.html "The 103rd World Series opened in this absurd little tenement by the turnpike Wednesday night" "Coloradans may not be able to appreciate the local fascination for this analog woodpile, having a much more digital Fenway of their own named after a beer but with more comfortable seats and better food, if no more convenient or cheaper parking." 'Analog woodpile'? what does that even mean???? Guy, learn to write. Seriously. It's like you are making terms up just to sound smart. Stop. I did like the 'Josh "Bend It Like" Beckett' part though... | | This item includes 3 comments |

With the world series starting tonight, this is really worrying me. Why did tito put gagne on the playoff roster at all, when a much more reliable Tavarez was waiting in the wings??? At least Tavarez has a good track record!! If it ever gets to extra innings and we need to put in Gagne, we're done. I don't care how much money we are spending on him, he can't be used! | | This item includes 5 comments |

I don't think I am the only idiot who hasn't learned Japanese yet, but it bugs me a little how I have no idea what those apparels say that have Japanese on them. I am all for it, and they look cool, but I cant help it to worry that it may say something completely inappropriate on it. Picture this: I'd be walking down the street, some Japanese woman would scream and run away, Then she reappears a few minutes later with a policeman because my shirt apparently says, "I do little boys before breakfast." I mean, do the TV stations know if we were wearing or holding up a sign that was completely inappropriate? I am sure it's been done in the past, but we are in the age where our MLB games are being broadasted in Japan. What if I were holding up a sign that read...well, you know...something offensive to the Japanese? | | This item includes 4 comments |

Can we all take a step back and note that Red Sox fans are becoming as hated or more hated as the Yankees fans across the country? Sure some of it just just because we are winning and people love to hate winners. But how about we lose the yankees suck BS. Yankees Suck was kind of amusing when it first started and you chanted it at a Pats game or your office picnic party egg toss to display your cleverness and singular hatred of the yankees. Ha. Ha. You're not even at a baseball game and look how you still hate the Yankees. How creative. Get a life. The simple truth is -- I hate to have to break it down for you -- that it was never funny or clever. In fact it has always been quite lame. And now that the sox are killin' it, chanting Yankees Suck at any event just makes us look like a bunch of spoiled, insecure brats. For crying out loud, were we all made fun of that badly on the playground?? I am proposing a nation-wide voluntary Yankees Suck ban and I need your signature to show your support. Sign now and show your beloved Red Sox that you're as much of a class act as they are!!

I have nothing against them, but BC has got to be the most overerated team in history of college football. You don't move up to #3 spot only because you beat up on a extremely poor ND team. | | This item includes 3 comments |
