Why is everyone so up in arms about this?  Last time I checked, football was a competitive sport.  What do you want?  Should the NFL call games once one team gets 35 points ahead?  

If you don't want them scoring 52 points on you, then stop them from scoring 52 points on you.  If you can't stop them, then you lose big.  Thats the name of the game.

With the salary cap in place, you can't argue that they're being unfair, since ostensibly all the teams are on a level playing field.  So stop whining.

I guess it's kind of an unwritten rule that when you're that far ahead, you back off a little to let the other guys save face. But I have to agree with you. Competition is competition and when someone decides to settle a score (with the NFL over spygate) by running up the score, don't get all pissy about it.

I don't think anyone can stop the pats this year. This weekend is going to be the superbowl for all intents and purposes [smiley=happy]

Let me guys give you a view from someone looking at this from out of town.

Its trashy and the Pats are developing abad name. Why is Brady playing in the 4th quarter up 30 and running QB sneaks? Some time soon a defensive player is going to get pissed off late in the game and take a run at one of the skill position players. Brady is probably first on many peoples hit list. What is 15 yards when you are down 30 pts.

I like the competitive nature of BB and the Pats but it has gone over the line a bit and it is starting to give the team a bad name.

Can't deny getting a kick out of Sundays game, but I think you have a point. Sometimes these things have a way of working themselves out..... If it was baseball Brady might be getting a fastball to the head next game.

Steelers on MNF was totally running up the score. I didn't hear anyone complaining.[smiley=angry]
