This is really ridiculous. The tickets are already pricey enough, not to mention impossible to get. This just means the scalpers will be able to charge that much more.
While they're at it, maybe they could look into raising the price of a beer in Fenway a few bucks. I don't feel like I'm getting gouged enough when I go to a game. Thanks guys!

ManicMania Since I strongly believe in the concept of capitalism, I think this is fine. Things will always cost what they are supposed to as long as you don't regulate it. The market will control that. If it's too expensive, the stadium will not fill up, and if it's too cheap, the tickets will sell out too quickly.
In fact, since the tickets are so hard to come by, maybe these tickets are still too cheap. 3. Yes, I feel bad for the folks who can't afford $300, but that's the only way to keep money out of the scalpers' dirty hands.
Oh, no one asked for my opinion? Fine. 6. Kumarlicious People who can't afford RS can go to Pawtucket Pawsox or Nashua Pride. I am actually not kidding. Their ball games are great. So fun. No problems parking, no lines at the food stands. Kids playing baseball outside the stadium. Just pure American past time. |
