I don’t get
it. Why don’t people waiting for the
baggage just step back from the conveyor belt?
If we did, we can all see our luggage, and there won’t be pushing and
shoving when people are grabbing their bags.
Can’t we
all just stand back and approach the belt when the bag comes? It’d be so much easier.
Why must
people insist on having the front row seat?
This ain’t a concert or a sporting event. You won’t see the glistening sweat off the
singer. You won’t see “the play develop”.
You won’t catch the drum stick or the guitar pick. The bags won’t approach you to give you a
five, lock eyes and smile at you, and certainly won’t take you backstage.
Please. You just have to be able to identify your own
darn bag. We are all tired from the long
plane ride. I know we are anxious but
let’s all step back and relax. The bags
come in a certain order no matter how close you are to the belt.
Readers have left 2 comments. 1. swessonI totally agree. I think the airport just need to put like a yellow line about two feet away from the belt. Or paint the floor like a Towing Zone (yellow stripes) Can someone suggested this to the airport folks? 2. DCBMy thoughts exactly, swesson. I've always thought the same thing - put a yellow line or something because people are too stupid to know what to do without paint (think construction zones when four lanes become like two because people get freaked out in the absence of white dashes).
I understand weaker women or elderly may be worried their bag will go by before they can get it (the horror to have to wait another go-round!) but if they thought about it for two seconds they would realize that it would be easier if they could see it in advance, position themselves without having to elbow through others. Even better, someone may see them approaching and step up to help. |
