Q: I really need to rant about something! How do I do it?
A: For the faint of heart, you can "Unleash Anonymously." Go ahead, rant about whatever gripe is ruining your day! There's no need to register, however, the administrators (aka Unleash Masters) will review your submission before posting on the site.
If you register, you gain the ability to Unleash Proudly, so that your name is posted and your fellow Unleashers can commiserate with you.
Q: What is Unleash Your Anger?
A: UnleashYourAnger.com is a website that help you unleash your deepest (or lightest) complaints about the world and everything in it. When you post your messages, you will be sharing them with the rest of UnleashYourAnger community and receive feedback, advice, agreements, etc. UnleashYourAnger.com also holds contests and campaigns so you can win UnleashYourAnger goods to help you through the tough times.
Q: Why do I want to register?
A: When you are a registered user, you will be able to "Unleash Proudly." This give you first priority to have your submissions reviewed and posted, and you will be able to track and modify your past submissions. Being a registered user also allows you to participate in RantRanking contests and promotional give-aways from the website.
Q: I submitted my rant, but I don't see it on the site. Why not?
A: Unfortunately, the world is such a gloomy place...we receive thousands of rants every day and we must be selective which messages get posted. If you don't see your rant, don't get discouraged. There are a lot of people out there grumbling...but we promise you, your day will come.
Please remember that the Unleash Masters will read each and every submission! (If it makes you feel any better.)
Q: When will you expand to other cities?
A: Currently, we are only supporting users for Boston and in neighboring cities. We do plan to extend the site to other cities in the upcoming months. Please check back with us in the future for updates.
Q: Where are my comments that I submitted?
A: You will not see your comments immediately as we review each submission from unregistered users. Sign-up is extremely easy, so please register! We only ask for your email and your name.
Q: How does your rating system work?
A: Whether you love or hate a fellow Unleasher's message, you can use use the angry face buttons to assign your rating from 1 to 5. The votes are tallied and our proprietary RantRank algorithm assigns a RantRank for each item. You can see some of the highest rated ranks in the Rant Champs section.
Q: My UnleashYourAnger.com stressball arrived today, and I already feel a whole lot better. Who can I thank for this?
A: We are a couple of guys from Boston who live life to complain. We grip that, and we whine this. We love to unleash, and we know you do too. Join us in our mission!
Oh, by the way, people refer to us as Unleash Masters...Unleash Master Alpha and Unleash Master Omega. (Don't read into it that much.)
Q: What information does your website collect from its users?
A: UnleashYourAnger.com collects your name and email address for those wanting to participate and submit their messages. We also collect the IP address of the computer you are using, so we can regulate improper submissions and voting attempts. We do not use your email address for any other purposes but contacting you about your submissions or a notification of a price winning. We do not share or sell your information to any other entities.
