Sunday Globe is $2.50 on the newsstand. If you subscribe to Sunday Globe (that is, have them delivered to home), it is $3.50. Does this make sense? Shouldn't something cost less if I subscribe to it?
Readers have left 5 comments. 1. Bones That's actually really wierd, I never knew that. I guess you are paying for the delivery. It's not like a magazine where the usps takes care of delivery, they've gotta pay the paperboy to do it. But still kind of surprising. 2. big papi Who still get's a newspaper delivered? Do you have a dog or something? "Go on the newspaper, foofie. Go on the newspaper!!"
I haven't read a newspaper except online in years. 3. Guest User Don't be a paper hater, big papi. Best coupons are in the Sunday paper. And subscribing should be cheaper. 4. Guest User you know i don't mind paying extra for delivery, but our paper boy is always putting envelopes in our papers looking for tips! I don't get that! i'm already paying him to deliver the paper and he wants even more money! and my paper boy isn't even a boy he's a grown man so i know he's looking for a substantial tip! 5.
