Holy cr@p, Boston. I've hit at least four bone-jarring car-slamming potholes in the last two days. Luckily no major tire or rim damage yet but each one feels like my car is going to crack in half... You know what I mean. Must just be a really rough winter for them.
On the plus side, I'm also noticing a lot of the giant potholes getting fixed, so I guess crews are out there doing their job. Must just be a lot to keep up with.

I think it's just a rough year for it. Alternating warm/freezing weather, plus a steady amount of snow and rain which freezes and thaws with each temperature shift.

I've hit a couple of nasty ones. Tough on the car. I hate that, feels like your teeth are gonna fall out when you get a bad one. Plus it always knocks my radar detector off the windshield. I'll have to get bigger suction cups for next winter

There was an article on Boston.com today regarding the increase of potholes this year. It has been pretty bad..I agree.
